"Some sort of critter, I suppose," Klaus answered, looking off to the side when he heard a very distant noise by one of the creatures in question. He thought he'd caught a glimpse of one out of the corner of his eye earlier, but once again, he had not been quick enough to get a proper look, never mind to actually catch it.

"Nothing to worry about, or they would have attacked us already," he went on, looking back at Alayne with raised eyebrows. "Have you figured out the bathroom already?"
